About TeachNext

TeachNext is a teacher-facing literacy decision-support tool from Reading Roots & Wings. It helps K–5 educators make sense of an observable reading skill pattern and choose a focused instructional next step.

The goal is not to replace assessment or diagnose a student. It is to bring the thinking of an experienced literacy coach closer to the moment a teacher asks, “What should I teach next?”

Each result is designed to connect the likely priority with a practical sequence, a manageable small-group routine, progress-monitoring prompts, and relevant Reading Roots & Wings resources when they genuinely fit.
